Spring "try it" days, 2025: Register HERE
Try-It days are our "open house" and your chance to come out, ride bikes, have fun, and see what we have to offer. All students in the Lower Merion area (LMSD, home-school, and private school), from 6th to 12th grades (in fall 2025), are invited. Parents who ride MTBs are also encouraged to come out and join in. Bring your bike and helmet and join us for some MTB fun! We have two days scheduled this season:
Try It #1: Saturday, April 5th, 9am to 11am
Try It #2: Saturday, May 3rd, 9am to 11am
Both Try-It days are at Belmont Plateau.
Please note that Try-It days will be weather dependent - we don't ride muddy trails. We'll do our best to notify everyone a day or two in advance of each date if we need to cancel or change the date.
New Students Orientation Day:
Saturday, June 21st, 9am to 1pm - details TBD
Practices:
Our first practice is Wednesday, July 2, 6pm to 8pm. We'll have up to 4 practices each week through the season:
Mondays, 6pm to 7:30pm - speed and endurance focused practices meeting at Belmont Plateau.
Wednesdays, 6pm to 8pm - MTB skills focused practices meeting at Belmont Plateau or by Chamounix Stables.
Saturdays, 9am to 11am - trail focused practices, meeting at Belmont Plateau or other trails in the area.
Sundays, 8am - endurance rides - details TBD
Practices are weather dependent and may be cancelled if it's raining or otherwise too wet to ride.

Non NICA MTB events:
Thursday Night MTB races at Belmont Plateau. Come out and be a part of Philly history - the Thursday Belmont races have been going on since 1989! The races are free and open to all riders regardless of age or level. Races start promptly at 6:30pm, leaving from the Belmont Plateau location.
